Root River Energy, LLC was formed in April 2008 to produce electrical power in an environmentally friendly manner. Located in Fillmore County, Minnesota, the company will follow a model of community ownership, where local landowners can become project owners. One of our main goals is to provide landowners and other local investors an opportunity to financially participate in a wind project with potential long-term benefits to the owners and the community.

Our development commitment is to produce wind energy projects that are sustainable, generational and environmentally responsible.
