Minneapolis-based developer National Wind has hired Megan Sorensen as a wind farm developer. Sorensen's responsibilities will include helping manage the development of two key wind projects: the 300 MW Root River Energy project in Fillmore County, Minn., and the 300 MW Northwest Ohio Wind Energy project in Grover Hill, Ohio.
Sorensen brings five years of corporate financial experience to National Wind's team. Prior to National Wind, she worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston.
